Monthly Housing Placement Reports
How’s Nashville partners have been working hard to improve the city’s housing placement rate. Between June 2013 and December 2014, the campaign has been able to significantly increase the city’s housing placement rate from an average of 19 housing placements per month to an average of 46 housing placements per month.
In January 2015, the How’s Nashville partners engaged in a new community campaign called 2016 by 2016. Under this new campaign, our goal is to end Veterans homelessness by December 2015 and chronic homelessness by December 2016. We set the goal to house a total of 2,016 people – homeless veterans and people experiencing chronic homelessness by the end of 2016.
In January 2015, we started setting new housing placement goals and began counting towards reaching that overall goal of housing 2,016 people (595 Veterans and 1,421 people experiencing chronic homelessness).
These numbers reflect housing placements across the entire community (including the efforts of partner agencies that assisted chronically homeless individuals and families with housing placements without the help of the How’s Nashville campaign).
