The How’s Nashville Residents Meeting is one hour long and is open to all residents of permanent housing who have struggled with homelessness in the past. We meet on the third Wednesday of the month at East Park Community Center to exchange ideas, give feedback, and enjoy a breakfast hour together.
The following partners are crucial in helping us organize our monthly Residents Meeting:
- The Community Resource Center (CRC) provides door prizes that help decorate residents’ apartments;
- Vision Hospitality Group provides the monthly breakfast;
- The Metropolitan Homelessness Commission provides bus passes; and
- How’s Nashville partners – especially the housing navigators – help invite residents, transport them to the meeting, and engage the residents group in discussions.
A big shout-out goes out to Catherine Mayhew, executive director of the CRC, and Paul Tyson, regional director of operations at Vision Hospitality Group, Inc. for their support, dedication, and willingness to help out whenever and wherever needed.
